April 12 - May 26, 2024 - The Wonder of Water: exploring our place in the hydrosphere

I'll be part of Metchosin ArtPoid’s newest juried art exhibit where artists were asked to express their unique experiences and perspectives on water, to explore their personal relationships with water, and to express their sense of place in the wonderous watery hydrosphere. The show features an installation by guest juror, contemporary ceramic artist Samantha Dickie.
To celebrate 2024's World Earth Day, please visit the show, especially the Show Opening Reception: Sat April 13 2-4PM where you will meet the participating artists, and hear them speak about their work. We celebrated the mysteries of the sea, in fantasy and reality, at the Gage Gallery, 19 Bastion Square in downtown Victoria, BC. Watercolours, acrylic paintings and digital art with a theme of water, sea creatures, the life below and above the waves – what is and could be!
